Charlie's Canine Hydrotherapy Clinic: Meet the Team
Meet Charlie
Charlie is a red cattle dog born in 2019, and he was diagnosed with hip dysplasia a couple of months before his 6th birthday in late 2025.
Knowing that hydrotherapy for dogs is the best form of therapy for this condition, I searched for the closest service only to find that it was at least an hour drive one way, and the open hours wouldn’t work with my full-time job.
Although Charlie loves car rides, my little rage monster does not like unfamiliar people. With all of this in mind and understanding that he would need ongoing hydrotherapy as he ages, I decided to purchase an underwater treadmill for home use.
When I mentioned my underwater treadmill purchase to Dr. Dan, one of the many amazing vets helping Charlie, he asked, "Where will you run the business out of?" Without thinking, I replied, "I can’t run it from my place because I’m currently renting." Dr. Dan then offered to rent a room at the surgery. Fast forward 5 months—Charlie’s Canine Hydrotherapy Clinic Pty Ltd was born.
I am now a qualified canine hydrotherapist; Practitioner member of ACRA; a new and better hydrotherapy machine for pet rehabilitation is soon to be ordered, and clinic opening dates are getting closer.
Charlie is my world, and I understand the value of quality care needed for these special members of our family. I have built Charlie’s Canine Hydrotherapy Clinic to offer you and your fur-family members the same love and care I have for my boy during their times of need.
